In all his years

In all his years, he had never seen anything like this.
A woman so cold.
A woman so damn bold.
She grabbed him by his shirt and said take me to heaven.
All while he took that woman to hotel room number seven.
She chuckled as he walked alongside her, with no care in her mind.
He didn’t know whether it was the alcohol coursing through his body or the way she looked at him with her bright blue eyes but man, she had him blind.
Because in all his years, he’s seen the same places & lived the same life.
But there was finally someone who made him feel so frickin’ alive.
But maybe, he should’ve seen the warning.
He should’ve known she wouldn’t stick around the next morning.
She asked him to take her to heaven, & he accomplished it so well.
But the cold woman knew better, for she lurked to find someone else to give her hell.
